Last summer Dries bought this adornment in an floating market. The owner is a young couple and they said that they took it back from Malaysia. Since they dressed like backpackers, we did believe them. Besides, we don't really care about that anyway and every time when someone asked about it, we always answered it with what we were told: "Yeah and you know what? It is from Malaysia."
I even imaged that it is like other stuffs that I took from different places during my traveling, were stuffed into my backpack, traveled with me for long time and finally came back with me... So, I like to think that this cute little thing has some stories, too.
Until one day my South Korean classmate, S saw my sketch of it and told me that it is from her country (She even sent me a website to prove it! )........
Well, the good thing is that we finally know who he is, Stone grandpa from South Korea. But at that same time all my imagination about it are all gone...........Gees..
